In Fréjus, the "Murmures et explosions" exhibition combines art, recycling and ecological innovation

The "Ose Art" association has chosen culture as a medium to encourage the preservation of the planet.
The fifteen volunteers are involved in recycling awareness campaigns while also seeking to promote art (scarecrow competitions, Christmas specialties, parades, etc., always using recycled waste).
"Ose Art" is offering, in partnership with the City of Fréjus, from today until September 11 , an original exhibition, entitled "Murmures et explosions" , at the Villa Aurélienne (free entry from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.).
Around fifty works by Robert Kohn , one of the pioneers of Pop Art, the family collection loaned by Stéphane Kohn, line the walls of the Palladian residence.
The recently deceased international artist began his career in Los Angeles . The colors of the cities, the Californian houses, and the joy of living in the hippie world inspired the cheerfulness of his creations.
His friendships with Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, and the Black Socks influenced his lively and harmonious mixes.
More than 112 colors can be seen on his canvases.
The fantasy and humor of the scenes and characters in his paintings are intended to make us forget the daily gloom and bring joy.
Opening tonight at 6 p.m.
The opening of this exhibition is scheduled for this evening at 6 p.m. , after a free conference , "Burying is running away", given at 5 p.m. , in the music room of the Villa Aurélienne, by specialists who will share their visions and their discoveries on the recycling of plastic waste.
Three engineers, inventors of the "SeaPass," a threshold that facilitates the passage of wheelchairs for people with reduced mobility, will explain this revolutionary concept and answer questions from the public regarding ecological solutions for the future.
"This innovation is made from recycled marine plastics. It is being previewed this evening in Fréjus. Our project combines culture, environmental protection and consideration of disability," said Chantal Sibra, president of the "Ose Art" association, and Patricia Poignand, vice-president.
Christophe Stacchetti will discuss the practice of reuse from Antiquity to the present day. Visual artist Jean-Jacques Dalmais will showcase a work made from industrial waste.
Alexandre Bernardin, director of Broplast, will speak on the reality of industrial recycling: sourcing, mechanical means, tonnages and skills necessary for efficient recycling.
François Vuaillat's speech, Plastikserecycle, will be dedicated to the transformation of plastic waste into furniture, such as his stools.
And Hervé Vion Delphin, founder of Trivéo, will detail the "Sea-Pass", and will lead the debate on plastic pollution of the oceans: what can we do, on our scale as citizens?
